Had a PEG surgically fitted 1st February...very sore
I am new to this wonderful Forum and as I said my PEG area has been sore and getting worse with an awful burning/stinging sensation spreading right around the PEG site. What is normal and what is not?
Hopefully you guys can help me out a bit more. I've had my peg tube replaced last week for a button (freka), after having had the peg for 2 years. With the peg I had a constant very minimal oozing of the ostomy but nothing to write home about or a simple gauze wouldn't take care of for 24-48 hours at least. How to Keep from Falling on Icy Conditions
Something that rarely happens in New Orleans is icy or snowy conditions. I let our bigger 15 yr old dog out to do her business and she fell on the back concrete porch with a 3 inch step down due to the ice. I went out and helped her up and was slipping myself. Does anyone have suggestions for Bile Reflux? Has anyone been to Mayo?
Recently my bile reflux has gotten so bad that sometimes when I bend over, bile comes into my mouth & sometimes my nose. I finally bought bed raisers to help at nighttime, but this is ridiculous. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, my insurance will only cover 50% if I go to Mayo...but my doctor is really wanting me to go there since they have more experience with people in my situation tha
